Design for Upgrade, the technological evolution with protection of investiments

Presentation by Giovanni Becattini, AEP’s CEO, held on Nov 11th 2015 in Cagliari, at the Clubitalia conference “Payment systems and bank cards for the Local Public Transport”.

The presentation describes the AEP’s strategy on long term support for Customers which relates to equipments upgrades to protect the investments. There are described some cases like the ATAF Firenze (Busitalia group),  the Sardinia Region and the presentation of the new  Futura 3AE validator with the certified EMV 1-2 e PCI-PTS 4.3 reader. In compliance with the strategy, AEP will be soon offering a “retrofit” plan for the current Futura 3A’s to be converted into Futura 3AE’s.
