Presented the Futura 3AE for EMV cards

During the Clubitalia event “Payment systems and bank cards for the Local Public Transport” held on Nov 11th 2015 in Cagliari, AEP has presented the new Futura 3AE validator which features the new EMV 1-2 and PCI-PTS 4.3 certified reader and can process traditional cards like Calypso, MIFARE etc. as well as contactless EMV bank cards, like the Mastercard Paypass or VISA Paywave. The Futura 3AE opens the path to the implementation of a fare collection system based on the London Transport model.

It will be possible to convert the current Futura 3A to the new Futura 3AE.
