Instruments and solutions for compulsory validation

Systematic validation is the new frontier in the fight against fare dodging in local public transport, evaluated today at mover euro 500 million. Many Regions are passing laws that make it compulsory.

The attached presentation was illustrated by Mr Giovanni Becattini, CEO of AEP at the Conference of Club Italia in Siena, in Santa Maria della Scala, on 19.11.2014. The solutions that Electronic Ticketing Systems offer to make implementing compulsory validation possible with the least inconvenience for the user and with clear advantages for the Companies are analysed in it.
